Pat Farmer’s Run for the Voice

The Run for the Voice is a 14,400km run around Australia over six months led by Pat Farmer to raise awareness, support and engagement for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament.

On Monday 28 August, Pat will be running into Canberra. That evening, I am hosting an event with Pat to discuss his run and the Voice.

Pat will be in conversation with Wulgurukaba woman and Indigenous Marathon Foundation graduate Joyrah Newman. The discussion will cover blisters, grit, reconciliation and more.

Places are limited, so please RSVP early.

We’re particularly keen to have people in the audience who are undecided about how they’ll vote in the referendum. So if you have a friend or neighbour who’s on the fence, please bring them along (just don’t forget to RSVP separately for each of you).

We look forward to seeing you there.

Andrew Leigh.
