Bulk-billing is back!
The Albanese Government is expanding access to free GP care in the ACT, with a new fully bulk billing clinic now open in Gungahlin. Infinity Medical Centre has opened its first Gungahlin site at Unit 1/61 Anthony Rolfe Avenue, with a second Gungahlin location to be announced soon.
The new clinic follows the opening of fully bulk billing GP practices in Tuggeranong and Woden Valley in June. These clinics are funded by the Albanese Government to help attract more GPs to Canberra and make it easier for ACT residents to access affordable primary healthcare.
The ACT Bulk Billing GP practices have been commissioned by Capital Health Network, the ACT’s Primary Health Network. There are now 24 fully bulk billing GP practices across the ACT, including eight that have switched from mixed billing following Albanese Government funding to strengthen Medicare.
