The National Australia Day Council runs an Australia Day Community Events grant program each year. In 2025 we saw more than 700 community events take place across the country because of this funding.
The grant program will open on Wednesday, 13 August 2025 for a four-week application period, closing Monday, 8 September 2025. Local governments and not-for-profit organisations can apply for either a $2,000 or $10,000 grant for inclusive community events.
