Yes but, will you be the first Labor MP to stand up and say – “ENOUGH! Slipper and Thompson need to GO. NOW. How can you work each day along two men of such appalling morals and values. I see you as a man of honor. How honorable do you feel endorsing their behavoiur by remaining silent day in day out? You are guilty by omission. You’re better than that! Have you considered what your children/grandchildren might say about your morals and courage say in 10 years time? What will History say about what you stand for?
Have you buried your usually credible voice box in the Prime Minister’s sand pit?
Common Andrew. Lead the charge. The electorate – people of all persuasions – will thank you for restoring integrity and values to our Government. This debacle is not about Party politics or loyalties; it’s about our Parliament – what Australia stands for both domestically and off shore. You CAN do it; if you choose to and if you put values and decency ahead of power.
